Charlotte's songwriting includes a touch of jazz, folk, pop, angst and a whole lot of passion, taking inspiration from vivacious female artists like Michelle Shocked, Suzanne Vega and Ani DiFranco. Although recorded in canada, Charlotte hails from New Plymouth, and there is that undeniable NZ flavour through each track, Kereru Wings for example.
